New release: search the case law of every Bulgarian court and the Court of Justice of the EU
We're starting 2026 with a major expansion of our legal-research databases. We're excited to share that Praven Intelekt now includes:

the decisions of all courts in Bulgaria published in ЕПЕП (the Unified Portal for Electronic Justice),
-
the case law of the Court of Justice of the EU (СЕС), the General Court of the EU, and the opinions of the EU Advocates General.
You can let the AI decide which sources to search, or you can filter by court and date yourself.
Beyond the new databases, we've also added:

information on related cases, with links between them,
-
a refreshed look for the platform.
Now, a little more detail on what's new:
New databases
You can now use Praven Intelekt to easily find answers and case law with citations, drawing on the following official sources:

all Bulgarian statutory instruments (laws, regulations, ordinances, etc.) in their latest version,
-
European Union regulations and directives in their latest version,
-
case law and interpretive decisions of the Supreme Court of Cassation (ВКС) and the Supreme Administrative Court (ВАС),
-
case law of the Court of Justice of the EU (СЕС), the General Court of the EU, and the opinions of the EU Advocates General,
-
case law of the regional, district, and administrative courts from ЕПЕП (the Unified Portal for Electronic Justice)
We update our databases with information from ЕПЕП and EUR-Lex every week, and we pull the decisions of the ВКС and ВАС directly from their websites and update them every night.
Based on customer feedback and requests, we'll soon be adding the following databases as well:

questions and answers from the National Revenue Agency (НАП)

questions and answers from the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy
-
decisions of the Commission for Protection of Competition (КЗК)
-
guidance and decisions of the Commission for Personal Data Protection (КЗЛД)

Smart source selection
Every time you search for case law with Praven Intelekt, you have a choice:

let the AI decide which sources are most relevant to your search, or
-
choose for yourself which courts and which time period to search.
You can filter by clicking the sources button and selecting the relevant courts, or simply by describing the case law you're looking for in your question (e.g., "according to the Sofia City Court (СГС)", "in Montana").
💡 When you let Praven Intelekt search on its own, it will limit itself to the case law of the ВКС and ВАС, unless you explicitly tell it which courts to search.
Related cases
You can see related cases directly within the sources in Praven Intelekt:
When you see the ⇄ symbol in a citation (e.g., Decision No. 1567 of 2024 of the Sofia City Court (СГС) ⇄), you can click the link to see the related cases, with quick links to the full text of the decisions and to ЕПЕП.
